Even though it doesn’t reveal a lot about the show, we do get some insights about how Danny Rand became Iron Fist, a well-known character among Marvel fans.
After his parents die in a plane crash, Rand spends a few years training in martial arts, just before getting back to New York and find that his family business is now run by his former childhood friends, Joy and Ward Mechum (portrayed by Jessica Stroup and Tom Pelphrey), says Metro.
Of course, we’re looking forward to seeing a lot of familiar Marvel Characters in the show, including Luke Cage – who also has a show of its own, airing on Netflix On September 30-, a character Iron Fist is known to team with in the comics.
The teaser trailer was very well received by fans, reaching over 1,5 million views in just one day, meaning that lead actor Finn Jones and the whole team behind the production should be more than delighted about this first reaction.
Speaking about Finn Jones, he’s far from being a beginner, already being a real star, thanks to his role as Loras Tyrell, from Game of Thrones.
